I have the glide thing on a new fujitsu-siemens laptop also. But it also has a touch pad.. And yeah… old ibook … it has a ball instead of a touchpad and i think it runs on Mac OS 6.

The glide point is a stupid IBM invention .. and I think they tried to keep it for as long as they could. Anyway …. you said you have an old iBook ?
